We Hold These Truths.
To celebrate the 250th anniversary of our country, we will be holding a reading of the document that got it officially started, the Declaration of Independence.
On Saturday, July 4th, we will gather at 3:45 on the sidewalk on the north side of Carmichael Park (on Southern near 6th) and begin the reading at 4:00. Please join us!This event is sponsored by Indivisible Bridge to Brighton with the support of Indivisible Westminster.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. If you are hosting your own event, we expect hosts to ensure all participants in your event uphold this commitment.
